Added a bullet to MWRA section of resume which describes how I implemented Palm OS and Pocket PC's into my daily work tasks while working for the MWRA.
Also, did some wordsmithing to all pages.
Added Crystal Reports Bullet to Resume
Added another bullet item to the MWRA section of my resume to cover my extensive Crystal Reports experience.
Added My Resume And A Link From Business Experience Page
Added my resume to the site today. At the bottom of the business experience page, a link to the resume was added. The resume contains more details about my business accomplishments.
Added New Links At The Top Of Each Page
Added text-based links at the top of each page to enhance navigation among the pages, particularly with small screen mobile devices.
Added Work Section In PDA Experience Page
Added a new "PDA's at Work" section to the page that documents my PDA experience. Also, did some wordsmithing on the page as well.
Changes were made at the B&N Cafe at the Prudential Center using CedeFTP, H-Bomb, HP iPAQ 4155, and a HP thumb-sized keyboard.
Added Final Links and Tested with Palm and Pocket PC devices
Added the final links to the site, checked all links, and added site to Google - Yahoo to be included in their searches. I did not want to add site to the search engines until the information was complete. The site is now complete with information about my general business experience and specific PDA experience. I am a firm believer in incremental improvements and will continue polishing the site with small, continuous changes.
One of my primary goals when developing the site was to ensure the site was readable on PDA's. I tested the site with Palm's (T, T3, T5), Clie's (NX70, NX80, NZ90, UX50, TH55), Pocket PC's (Maestro, Toshiba (e550, e740, e750, e805), IPAQ 4150, Dell Axim (X30, X50v), and the site displayed fine on all devices. The site looked particularly impressive on the Toshiba e805 in full VGA, landscape mode. ConsultPDA.com displayed fine on an Apple Newton Messagepad 2100 as well.
I avoided the temptation to use the latest WWC bells/whistles, and was rewarded with a site that displays well on PDA's, which is definitely appropriate for a site offering PDA consulting services.
Approximately 75% of the development of ConsultPDA.com was on a Dell Axim X50v, using CedeFTP, H-Bomb, and a Palm branded wireless keyboard.
New PDA Experience Page and New Logo
Developed a new page summarizing my PDA experience with both Palm OS and Pocket PC. This page is essential as it shows why I am qualified to offer PDA consulting services. Also added a ConsultPDA temporary logo. I will modify the logo in the future, but it is a good start.
The new page was developed using the Dell Axim X50v, CedeFTP, and H-Bomb with the Palm wireless keyboard at the B&N Cafe.
I am very experienced using both Palm OS and Windows Mobile PDA's for business solutions. Since I retired from my full time job, I am offering on-site and cyber consultant services within the Route 495 belt of Boston, MA, USA. Cyber consulting services are available worldwide. This blog will track the development of the ConsultPDA.com website which will advertise my consultant services.
